20H Custom All Valve Guitar Amp Head description:

The Hiwatt 20H Custom is hand-wired 20-Watt Class A Custom shop valve guitar head providing rich, uninhibited tone of pure Class A for the valve amp lover.

The Hiwatt 20H Custom valve Guitar Amp Head is powered by EL-84 power valves (2) and utilizing a gain controlled preamp in addition to its point-to-point wiring, with three 12AX7 valves, giving this amp some serious tone and sustain at decent volumes! Featuring Master Volume control, individual Gain, Bass, Mid and Treble controls, High and Low inputs.

A look inside the amplifier will reveal point- to-point hand wiring, turret tag boards (no printed circuits), and hand laced wiring harnesses. The power and output transformers of the Hiwatt 20H Custom are manufactured by Partridge, the original 1970's supplier to the original design sheets. The components and wires are the modern available equivalents of the vintage components, 1-watt carbon resistors, and wound polyester capacitors being used throughout.
